Peridot is a beautiful natural gemstone with a hardness ranking of 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale. Because this bracelet features intricate micro-set CZ stone borders alongside natural peridot, specific maintenance is required to protect its lively sparkle and the bright finish of the sterling silver:

• The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Always apply your cosmetics, hairsprays, body lotions, and perfumes before putting on your bracelet. Over time, chemical residues can accumulate beneath the tiny accent settings, clouding the gemstones and dulling their reflective fire.

• Always remove your bracelet before swimming in chlorinated pools, relaxing in hot tubs, or handling household detergents and cleaning solutions.

• Take the bracelet off prior to workouts, rigorous sports, or sleeping to avoid putting undue stress on the links or accidentally snagging the micro-prongs.

• Avoid automated cleaning systems: Never put this bracelet into automated ultrasonic jewelry cleaning tanks or steam machines. Peridot is sensitive to rapid temperature shifts and high-frequency vibrations, which can cause internal fractures or loosen the small CZ stones. Avoid commercial liquid silver dips as well.

• To clean safely: Wipe the piece gently after a day of wear with a clean, dry, ultra-soft microfiber cloth to remove surface oils.
