Capture the mesmerizing, dancing fire of a natural Ethiopian opal with this elegant split-shoulder halo statement ring. Hand-selected for our curated gallery collection, this piece centers on a translucent, oval-cut cabochon opal that radiates a dreamy spectrum of shifting neon greens, soft pinks, and celestial blues as it catches the light.
The central gemstone is delicately framed by a partial top-and-bottom crescent halo of very small, shimmering cubic zirconia (CZ) accents. To enhance the romantic warmth of the stone's natural play-of-color, the setting is crafted from high-polish 925 sterling silver finished with a premium rose-gold plating. The band transitions into elegant, open-work split shoulders that provide a light, architectural silhouette on the finger.

Care & Wear Info
Natural Ethiopian opal is a hydrophane gemstone, making it uniquely porous and sensitive to its environment. It requires dedicated maintenance to keep its brilliant play-of-color intact:
-
The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Always apply your body lotions, perfumes, hairsprays, and cosmetics before putting on your ring. Opals can absorb chemicals, oils, and alcohols, which can permanently cause the stone to lose its color flash and become cloudy or yellowish.
-
Keep Away from Water: Never submerge your opal in water, and always remove your ring before handwashing, showering, swimming, or washing dishes. Because Ethiopian opals absorb water, moisture exposure can temporarily turn the stone completely clear and alter its internal fire.
-
Opals are fragile, soft gemstones (ranking 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale). To avoid impact cracks or surface scratches, remove your ring prior to engaging in gym workouts, household chores, gardening, or sports.
-
Never expose this piece to harsh household cleaning products, liquid jewelry chemical dips, or automated ultrasonic tanks.
-
To clean safely, gently wipe down the rose gold-plated setting and the cabochon using a completely dry, ultra-soft microfiber jewelry cloth to remove surface dust.
-
Store the ring flat inside its own soft, lined fabric pouch away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, or dry conditions to prevent the opal from dehydrating or cracking (crazing).
