Both peridot and chrome diopside are beautiful natural gemstones that require gentle handling to preserve their brilliance and clarity over time. Chrome diopside is a softer stone, meaning it should be protected against hard impacts or scratches from tougher jewelry pieces.

• Always apply body oils, lotions, perfumes, and hairsprays before putting on your necklace to keep the surface of the stones free from a dulling chemical film.

• Remove your necklace prior to bathing, swimming, showering, or engaging in strenuous physical activity.
