Natural cultured pearls are delicate organic gems that require thoughtful maintenance to protect their unique luster and the bright polish of the silver shells:

• The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Always apply your makeup, perfumes, hairsprays, and skincare products before putting on your earrings. Cultured pearls are porous, and cosmetic chemicals can dull their natural white finish over time.

• Remove your earrings before showering, bathing, swimming in chlorinated pools, or relaxing in hot tubs.

• Take the earrings off before exercising, playing sports, or going to bed to prevent the fine structural shell framework or posts from getting bent.

• Avoid automated cleaning methods: Never place these earrings inside automated ultrasonic cleaners or steam machines. High-frequency vibrations can compromise the setting or fracture the organic pearls. Do not use harsh liquid chemical silver dips.

• To clean safely: Gently wipe the pearls and silver shell elements after wear with a clean, dry, ultra-soft microfiber cloth to remove surface oils. For a deeper wash, use room-temperature water mixed with a single drop of mild, neutral soap. Wipe gently, rinse thoroughly with fresh water, and lay flat on a dry towel to air-dry completely.
