Natural cultured pearls require gentle care to protect their delicate organic surfaces and maintain the polished sterling silver hardware:

• The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Always apply perfumes, hairsprays, cosmetics, and setting mists before putting on your earrings. Cultured pearls are porous, and cosmetic chemicals can compromise their brilliant natural luster over time.

• Remove the earrings before showering, swimming in chlorinated pools, or relaxing in hot tubs.

• Take the earrings off before exercising, playing sports, or sleeping to avoid bending the specialized curved post assembly.

• Avoid automated cleaning methods: Never clean these earrings in automated ultrasonic or steam machines. High-frequency vibrations can weaken the organic components or loosen the setting bonds. Avoid harsh chemical liquid silver dips.

• To clean safely: Gently wipe the pearls and silver components after each wear with a clean, dry, ultra-soft microfiber cloth. For a thorough cleaning, use room-temperature water with a single drop of mild, neutral soap. Wipe gently, rinse completely with fresh water, and allow to air-dry flat on a soft towel.

• Store flat in a dedicated soft pouch or an individual compartment of your jewelry box to protect them from being scratched by harder gemstone pieces.
