Natural sapphire is a highly durable gemstone, but its fine, multi-stone settings require thoughtful care to preserve their brilliance and security:

• The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Always apply your perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and cosmetics before putting on your ring. Chemical residues can leave a film over the intricate micro-pave and channel settings, quickly dulling the stones' fire.

• Always remove your ring before washing your hands, showering, swimming, or handling household cleaning products. Tap water minerals, soap scum, and chlorine can build up under the stones and degrade the fine rhodium and gold-plated details.

• While sapphire is exceptionally hard (ranking 9 on the Mohs scale), the surrounding sterling silver setting and CZ accents can be scratched or chipped. Remove the piece before heavy lifting, gardening, sports, or manual labor.

• Avoid aggressive automated ultrasonic cleaners or boiling jeweler steamers, which can loosen complex multi-stone accent frameworks.

• To clean safely, gently wipe down the band and settings with a completely dry, ultra-soft microfiber jewelry cloth.

• Store flat in its own soft fabric pouch or a dedicated compartment to prevent hard facets from scratching neighboring jewelry pieces.
