The primary stone is a magnificent 2.81-carat natural aquamarine cut directly in our studio into a specialized "fantasy oval" shape. Certified independently by the Instituto Gemológico Español (IGE), it exhibits a beautiful, pale icy-blue transparency with zero indications of artificial enhancements. Nestled beside it is a substantial companion piece—a vibrant, pear-cut hessonite garnet, also hand-faceted right here in the studio. The garnet flashes a rich, honeyed amber-orange brilliance that perfectly contrasts the cool tones of the aquamarine. Set in a premium, high-polish 925 sterling silver band, this bespoke creation is a powerful celebration of raw independent lapidary work.

Care & Wear Info

Both natural aquamarine and hessonite garnet are durable stones, but an artisanal setting requires thoughtful care to ensure it remains pristine for generations:

• The "Last On, First Off" Rule: Always apply your perfumes, lotions, cosmetics, hairsprays, and sanitizers before putting on your ring. Daily beauty products contain chemicals that can slowly film over natural facets and dull their inherent brilliance.

• Remove your ring prior to gym workouts, sports, gardening, or any heavy lifting. While aquamarine ranks 7.5–8 on the Mohs scale, garnet ranks slightly lower at 6.5–7.5; avoiding impact protects both stones from accidental chipping or scratching.

• Always remove the ring before handwashing, showering, swimming, or using household cleaning solutions. Hard water deposits and soap residues can easily accumulate under the basket of a dual-stone setting, which blocks light from entering the pavilion.

• Never clean this artisan piece using automated ultrasonic cleaner tanks, steam machines, or harsh liquid commercial jewelry dips.

• To clean safely, use room-temperature water with a tiny drop of mild dish soap. Lightly brush around the settings with an ultra-soft toothbrush, rinse thoroughly with clean water, and dry immediately. Follow up with a completely dry, soft microfiber jewelry cloth to polish the silver shank.

• Store the ring flat inside its own soft fabric pouch or separate jewelry box compartment to protect its polished metal and custom facets from friction against other jewelry.
